A global e-Congress where young researchers and early-career professionals aged 35 and under share their ideas, present their research, build international networks and develop solutions for a sustainable future.
Because the world's greatest challenges cannot be solved by one country, one discipline or one institution alone.
They require a generation that thinks globally, collaborates globally and acts together.
The congress provides young people with an international platform to:
The fully digital format makes worldwide participation possible independent of geographical location and travel budgets.
Y-WCCO particularly welcomes:
Industry representatives are also highly welcome, particularly those interested in meeting and recruiting young corrosion scientists and engineers.
Participation by industry representatives is possible without submitting a scientific contribution.
The first Y-WCCO will take place over three days and culminate on 24 April – World Corrosion Awareness Day.
On this special day, the research, ideas and vision of the next generation will become part of the worldwide effort to raise awareness of the importance of corrosion prevention and control.
